SPACE 101.1 FM: Arts on the Air from Magnuson Park

Part of Sand Point Arts and Cultural Exchange, SPACE 101.1 began broadcasting on October 6, 2017, and is built for (and by) the community. Broadcasting out of Magnuson Park, SPACE 101 operates on the energy of a 100-watt light bulb, yet due to great antenna placement, it has a large broadcast range, from Bellevue to West Seattle and from Phinney Ridge to Kirkland! If you can’t pick it up in your area, you can always listen online at space101fm.org.

SPACE’s priority is to build community by connecting the park’s many stakeholders and visitors through creative and community based programming. Volunteer DJ’s have their own unique shows featuring a variety of musical genres including world music, jazz, rock and roll, pop, and more. At all other times of the day (and night), listeners will hear the SPACE MIX – a tailored blend of the best new music, vintage alternative rock, classic R&B, with healthy amounts of local music, and unexpected delights.
