Seattle Parks and Recreation invites the community to join in the Cedar Park renovation public meeting on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at the Lake City Presbyterian Church, 3841 NE 123rd Street, 98125.
Cedar Park, located in northeast Seattle at 3767 NE 135th St. will undergo renovations in conjunction with Seattle Public School’s redevelopment plan of the adjacent Cedar Park Elementary. The project provides play equipment upgrades, ADA access improvements, and other park enhancements.
The meeting is an opportunity for the community to hear about the upcoming project and offer input on the park renovations. Seattle Parks staff will be at the meeting to discuss the project and answer questions. The community is encouraged to participate and all are welcome.
The 2008 Parks and Green Spaces Levy allocates $500,000 to plan, design and construct the renovations of Cedar Park.
