Seward Park Lower Loop Trail Closure June 8

Preventative Maintenance for Public Safety

Seward Park Sign

The Lower Loop Trail at Seward Park will be closed on Thursday June 8, 2017 for tree removal with a crane.

The work will be performed by Bartlett Tree Service, a licensed contractor for the City of Seattle and will last for up to 8 hours. The tree has been assessed by Certified Arborists and the Parks Engineer; it cannot be retained due to safety risks.

Intermittent trail or road closures may be necessary to protect park users during tree work.  Care will be taken to minimize delays and facilitate continued use of the park throughout the work.

If you have questions, please call Deborah Brown McGarry, Seattle Parks and Recreation Arboriculturist, at 206-386-1688 or deborah.brown@seattle.gov.
