Hope for Youth Fund Information Session April 8

Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Hope for Youth Fund increases access to recreational, athletic, and positive youth development activities by providing administrative, scholarship, and summer sport league support to youth-focused organizations in the Seattle area that serve marginalized and economically distressed communities.

Attend a Hope for Youth Fund information session:
April 8, 2017, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Garfield Community Center.
Child care will be available. Interpretation services available upon request.

Hope for Youth applications available here* beginning April 17, 2017.
Applications due May 19, 2017 by 12 p.m.

*Paper applications will be available upon request by contacting Kathleen.Gantz@seattle.gov or 206-386-4671.

Hope for Youth funds can be used to support administrative costs or to provide scholarships. Acceptable expenses include league fees, officials fees, insurance, field fees, membership costs, etc. Funding will not cover uniforms, or sports equipment that will be used year-to-year.
