Big Day of Play 2017

Presented by Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Get Moving Initiative with support from Kaiser Permanente, Big Day of Play will be held on August 19 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Rainier Playfields and Community Center (4600 38th Ave. S, Seattle).

Big Day of Play is a celebration of our City’s diversity and it encourages neighbors, communities and families to have fun, build relationships and be active together. It’s the day to play your way!

Big Day of Play offers fun activities for all including:

  • Basketball
  • Adaptive Play Equipment
  • Goal Ball (team sport for low to no vision)
  • Inflatable obstacle course
  • Live music and cultural performances
  • Pickleball
  • Rainbow Bingo
  • Roller Derby
  • Sepak Takraw (kick volleyball)
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Flag Football

You can also hop on down to Mount Baker Rowing & Sailing Center (3800 Lake Washington Blvd S, Seattle, WA 98118) for some sailing, rowing and stand-up paddle boarding!

Make sure you check out the food trucks and collect freebies from the information and resource booths! You may even be entered to win big prizes!
