Sound Steps tour the waterfront; admire art

Sounds Steps is a volunteer supported walking program with Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Lifelong Recreation. The program is designed to get adults age 50+ moving and gaining the health benefits of regular exercise, while building social connections and having fun.

Participants in this free, year-round program are connected to other walkers on their level and matched with a walking group close to home. Encouragement comes from the support of volunteer walk leaders and regular events and activities that bring together participants from around the city.

On Thursday, Aug. 27, Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Sound Steps participants were on the move in Pioneer Square touring the new waterfront and looking at art across the city.
